Swedish Pizza is a forthcoming novella from James Burt, to be published in early 2027. It’s a horror story about a man trapped in a series of increasingly grim food-related nightmares. Imagine John Carpenter’s In the Mouth of Madness, if Sutter Cane was a pizza chef.
Sweden is famous for its creative pizzas – the famous kebab-pizza and the notorious Africana, which includes banana, curry powder and peanuts. This book asks – what if these strange toppings are the sign of something much darker and more dangerous?
